John Amstutz, CPCU, CIC
Fort Wayne Northeast, Fort Wayne Southwest and Auburn
John is an Indiana University graduate with a degree in Business. He has been associated with Amstutz Insurance since 1978. In 1981 he received his CIC designation (Certified Insurance Counselor) and in 1988 received his CPCU designation (Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter). He enjoys reading books in his spare time and traveling with his wife, Gail.

Vera Neuenschwander
Fort Wayne - Northeast
Vera has worked at Amstutz Insurance since 1986. She works primarily in personal lines but acquired her life and health license in 2013. She has enjoyed working with the agency's customers over a long period of time and knowing they are receiving excellent customer service.
In her spare time Vera enjoys gardening, canning, reading and traveling.
Carol Woehnker
Fort Wayne - Northeast
Carol started her career in insurance in 1989. She joined Amstutz Insurance in 2001 and specialized in commercial insurance. She enjoys spending her free time traveling.
Michelle Bassett
Fort Wayne Northeast and Auburn
I am a Customer Service Agent; I have been in the insurance business since 1995. Licensed in Property & Casualty and Life and Health for Indiana, Ohio & Florida. Member of Insurance Professionals Greater Fort Wayne, Member of Applied User Group of NW Ohio, I have a Secretarial Science Certificate from Indiana Institute of Technology.
I have been married to my husband Dave since 1986. I am involved in my church. I share the Secretary position on the Administrative Board, on the Board of Trustees, Activities Coordinator, and I am on the Pastor Parish Committee. I enjoys crafts, card making, jewelry making, painting, and baking.
Matthew E Roberts, CLCS
Fort Wayne Northeast and Auburn
Matthew was born and raised in Fort Wayne, IN. He attended school at Snider High School and IPFW. Matthew specializes in writing business insurance for contractors and manufacturing risks. He currently works out of our Fort Wayne and Auburn locations. Matthew is married to Jamie and they have two girls and 1 son together. He enjoys spending time with them and traveling.

I have been in the insurance business since 1995 and happily employed with Amstutz insurance since 2016. I work primarily in personal lines, but will help wherever I am needed.
My philosophy in life has been to treat others as you would like to be treated, and that definitely applies to my customers as well.
Married Mike for 22 years, we have been blessed with 3 kids, 9 grandkids and 1 great grandchild. In my spare time I enjoy reading, family time, travel adventures and time well spent with my Kindle games.

Sue Wright

Sue began her insurance career in 1980. She has been with Amstutz Insurance since 1982 with her main focus on personal lines. Providing excellent customer service is her objective.
In her spare time, Sue enjoys reading, scrabble, and spending lots of time with her grandson.
Vicki Fitzgerald
Fort Wayne - Southwest
Vicki began her insurance career in 1983 as a licensed Property & Casualty agent. She improves her knowledge of insurance by regularly attending seminars and completing self-study courses on such topics as Field Underwriting, Mitigating Fire and Water Losses, Ethics, and Insurance Law.
Vicki enjoys helping clients to better understand their policies and prides herself on providing excellent and prompt customer service. She currently serves her church as Vice Chair of the Board of Directors, member of the Praise Team and has previously served in several capacities, including Chair of the Preschool Board and co-chair of the 160th Anniversary dinner. She has also served on the Parent Board of the Fort Wayne Children's Choir and served as a judge for New Haven's Canal Days Scholarship Pageant.
Vicki also keeps busy in her spare time catering with Goeglein’s catering and during the summer can be found at local events working in the Whip and Chill food truck, Fire Whip (an fire truck transformed into an ice cream truck) or Rescue Whip (an ambulance transformed into an ice cream truck).
Vicki is married with two sons, a step son and two grandsons. She enjoys singing, baking and spending time with family and friends.

Tom Neuenschwander
Fort Wayne Southwest and Ossian
Tom is the founder and President of Insurance & Business Specialists in Ossian, doing business since 1980. They merged with Amstutz Insurance of Fort Wayne in January of 2016 to form one of the largest agencies in Northeast Indiana. He works out of the Southwest Fort Wayne and Ossian offices.
He is a 1972 graduate of Norwell High School and was a multi-letter winner in football and baseball. He attended Ivy Tech College in accounting.
He joined the New Haven Bulldogs football staff in the fall of 2015 as Director of Football Operations and line coach. They won the NE 8 Conference Championship and 4A 20 Sectional Championship in the fall of 2016. He was a member of Norwell High School coaching staff since 1991 and was the offensive line coach until 2004 when he was promoted to Director of Football Operations. During those 21 years, Norwell has twice been 3A State Runner-up, Semi-State Champs, and Regional Champs. In addition, they were Sectional Champions six times and won the Northeast Hoosier Conference Championship twice.
Tom has been an IHSAA Baseball official for 21 years and retired in June of 2014. He was selected to umpire the IHSAA State Baseball Championship game in 2006, 2009, 2010, 2013 and 2014. He was the plate umpire in 2010 4A game that Carroll won 1-0 in 9 innings and his last game in 2014. He was also selected as Indiana High School Baseball Coaches Association District Umpire of the Year in 2004, 2006, 2010 and 2014.
Tom is a retired Ossian Volunteer Firemen after giving the department 27 years of service and coached Little League Baseball in Ossian for 25 years. He proudly served his community as a member Ossian Town Council for 4 years.
Tom has been married to Laura for 46 years. They have 3 children, Brandon (Krista), Jonathon (Nicole), and Kristen (Charles) and 7 grandchildren, Kloe, Owen, Sullivan, Emerson, Cora, Kate, and Evie.
Ben Fawbush
Ossian
Ben is currently in his 19th year as an 8th grade mathematics teacher at Bellmont Middle School. He has also taught driver education in Decatur for 10 years. He formerly coached baseball at Bellmont Hs for 20 years.
Ben has been married to his beautiful wife Samantha (Emerick) for 18 years. They have 3 children: Kolten (15), Ryne (13), and Lillian (7).
Been received his Insurance Producer license in July of 2019.
He is an avid baseball fan and follows the New York Mets.
Laura Neuenschwander

Laura started her insurance career 1985 doing the books for IBS. She is licensed in Property, Casualty, Life and Health Agent.
In 1973 she graduated from Southern Wells High School. She has been married to Tom for 46 years. They have 3 children, Brandon (Krista), Jonathon (Nicole), and Kristen (Charles) and 7 grandchildren, Kloe, Owen, Sullivan, Emerson, Cora, Kate, and Evie. In her spare time she enjoys shopping at Macy's for shoes and purses and whatever else. She enjoys taking walks with Tom, playing with the grandkids on the Ipad, walking to play in the park or just hanging out with them and watching TV.
